Business Services Coordinator

Position Summary
The Business Services Coordinator provides operational and administrative support for campus mail services, centralized administrative functions, and select Business Office operations. This position oversees daily mailroom operations, coordinates institutional administrative services, and assists with basic Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll processes.
The position plays an important role in ensuring efficient campus operations while identifying opportunities to modernize and improve administrative services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Mail Services Administration
- Coordinate and oversee campus mail services operations
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Process outgoing mail through postage systems and external carriers
- Assist in assessing future service enhancements, including automated or smart locker solutions
Administrative Services Coordination
- Coordinate internal meeting room scheduling
- Coordinate external meeting room reservations and related communication
- Manage university fleet vehicle scheduling, maintenance coordination, and usage records
Business Office Support
- Assist with routine Accounts Payable processes
- Assist with routine Accounts Receivable functions
- Provide administrative support for Business Office operations as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business or a related field; OR
- Equivalent combination of education and administrative/clerical experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and office technology
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling records and information
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in administrative support, customer service, or office coordination
- Experience with business office functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, or payroll
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
