Dakota Wesleyan University is hiring an Alumni Engagement Associate to help build strong relationships with alumni and supporters through events, storytelling, and communications.

This role is perfect for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and enjoys connecting with people. You’ll help coordinate Homecoming and donor events, share stories that show the impact of a DWU education, work in collaboration with colleagues to support giving campaigns, and support alumni engagement efforts.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan alumni and donor events, including Homecoming
• Coordinate annual giving campaigns (mail, email, online)
• Create content that highlights alumni and student impact
• Collaborate with the marketing team

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong communicator who enjoys people, is proactive, and pays attention to the little things that make a big difference
• Creativity and an eye for design or messaging—experience with Canva or social media tools is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A team player and self-starter who is comfortable working across departments
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Have a commitment to the mission of DWU and its values of learning, leadership, faith and service
